Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos
Robot vacuums and mops have become more capable, acing our tests of cleaning and tackling various floor types. Choose models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, self-empty and clean stairs.
Many of the top models are compatible with smartphones. Look for an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the S1's behaviour.
When I tested the S1 It was quick to map our downstairs, which is home to laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, as well as medium-pile carpeting and a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls and even over thresholds that are raised without issue. However it was a bit difficult getting down the stairs in one go. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop drove smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it was near carpets or carpets.
The S1's docking station automatically emptys its trash bin and replenishes its water tank on board with clean, ozonated water before every mopping session. The dock also includes a cleaning solution in the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough water for about a dozen cleaning sessions before it has to be cleaned, although this can vary based the amount you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. To do this, you'll need to wash the dirty water tank occasionally to prevent it from clogging. Also, you'll need to clean your sensor and swivel wheel frequently to prevent them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. However, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially compared to other models which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robotic vacuum and mop is an efficient solution to your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum has 8,700Pa suction power and comes with many innovative features including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and eliminates obstacles. Its mopping capability is impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of just dragging a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station as required.
This robot has a simple interface that guides you through the process. It comes with a hand vacuum that recharges for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and replenished whenever required. It also has a range of settings that can be used to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, and has a powerful suction that easily removes most of the debris, and even tiny dust particles that other robots struggle with. Its navigation abilities are also quite good, though it could get stuck on small area mats and rugs in my home (which you can mitigate by creating virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping capabilities are quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spinning mop heads that actually lift and scrub the floors, instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops are also replenished at the top of the station when they are required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame released the luxe X30 Ultra earlier this year and their new flagship robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It delivers outstanding cleaning results, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a worthy contender for our list of the best robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure an effective, customized cleaning is completed.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests efficiently, avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping power of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and a mop pad that extends across baseboards.
Its navigation is smart it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing the stairs without a hitch. It can go from one room to the next without having to reverse direction. This is a great feature for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance system is less advanced than the ones of other competitors, and leaves a huge space over obstacles. This could lead to missing spots.
The app is streamlined, intuitive interface that should be easy to use for both new and experienced users. The app allows you to schedule and manage cleanings, change mopping and suction power settings as well as view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. You can control it through the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You will require a stable WiFi connection to run the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A robot vacuum does an excellent job of removing dirt and debris but it's not always able to be able to reach every piece of dust. This is why it's crucial to use your regular vacuum at least once every week, particularly to remove dust from corners, on shelves and in the crevices of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mops, is designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network and it works with Alexa or Apple Siri.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's more expensive S-series models. It includes the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It uses the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on price by eliminating mopping functions and using a lower-cost plastic body.
Even though it's not able to mop floors, the Q5 still offers the best vacuum and mopping performance we've seen from a robotic at this price. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning and set the floor type. It also features an automatic water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.
The mops also stand out with its 2700Pa power to tackle dirt and pet hair on carpets and hard flooring. The Q5 is one of the few robots we tested that didn't have any trouble with high-pile carpets and area rug, but it was unable to pick up kitty litter or cable tangles, which is no surprise since it does not include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. best cheap robot vacuum features a unique mapping system that lets it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums can't. This device also has the bin, which means you don't need to empty it as frequently. It also has washable filters which can further cut costs. The robot is able to detect carpets, and increase suction when needed. You can also mark areas you would like the robot to avoid using the app.
